Law Of Fire 05:36
As the ties ever loosen, and the last frays strain The edge of chaos reveals its endless dark From perilous depths, a thirst for light Again all ease, yielding to the absolute The revelation of structure; the first pressure The law from high, like crushing weight that births the bright stone. A new lamp is lit, burning with radiant fear. A sweet command, bend to obey What was before and ever will to be. The phantom laws of flesh and earth pull night across the heart, and hush the whispered call to light. A blessed wind blows shifting sands aside, and unveils the stone beneath the subjective tide, and from the stone the pillars rise. Above: this Below: we And ever was before, and ever will to be.

Dead matter gives no law, no graveborn father guides Put out the morning lamps - know the light before all What hands are these that force the weight; that hold the scales and sword? That pierce the madness of infinity, and carve the darkness from the light? Who has cast form from eternity's well, and breathed into the aimless husk? Only from the fullness of the host can the parasite subsist. Preeminence precedes privation, as a howling and vacuous "evil" is made a subject before glory. In the matrix of conscious minds, a warming sun for one will be a chilling shade for another, until that one knows it as a shadow cast of preeminent light. See, from before and ever to be! Behold, the glorious font that brings the rivers, the unchanging spring that ever abides. The omnipresent cause that holds existence, and wills the break of day, the act before the potency, the light before all. By the will and reason, we are endowed to know. By pride we birth rejection, and turn our reverent gaze. From broken body or punished mind, the whispers will testify of a humbled spirit. The suffering shall be redemptive.

In a quiet hour of reflection, the heart is found bursting with every wickedness and corruption the flesh might let it excise. The mind defends the stains with every contortion needed to slip the fiery barbs of holy shame. Ever perverting freedom as permission to indulge, the organs swell disordered; the final cause is broken. We are as slaves to our misery - how shall we be redeemed? And every torch an idol if its contingency is forgotten; who so wrestles back the darkness only lit dimly by pride, scorned by failure, weeps and sighs. Despite the lonesome labor to wipe away the decay, the desperately depraved fact of mankind seethes ever forth in terrible revelation. The agony of rebellion strains against the given law, at once compelled and denied. How heavy our burden to will the soaring order from the lawless flesh, and its flight, carry the heart to rest. The maddening dissonance of failure to our internal dictum: How shall we be redeemed?
4.
In these overlapping spheres of exchange, the higher must descend to the lower; the lower must die to itself, though not destroyed - lifted in communion to a greater end, and imbued with greater being. The proud will know not transcendence, and defile their union in solitude. How mysterious this cosmic atonement - who can know the totality of its mechanism? By perfection of obedience, to spill perfect blood, the punishment is stayed. Fiercest evil swallowed, Conquered in death. The glorious arrival The lifted viper The exodus in flesh Standing as though slain Woe, woe to them in that day who stare still into that blank and pitiless gaze; who make their pact to deal life and death in kind: with resolute denial, unrepentant. Put on the armor of light. Be not afraid.
